St. Monica Mission is part of the Syro‑Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Great Britain. Rooted in the traditions of the East Syriac Rite and nourished by the love of Christ, our mission offers a spiritual home to Syro-Malabar faithful in Hornchurch, Dagenham, Romford, Chadwell Heath, Collier Row, Rainham, and neighbouring areas.

We gather weekly to celebrate the Holy Qurbana in the Syro‑Malabar tradition, followed by fellowship and community bonding. Everyone is welcome—come as you are!

From a small beginning as St Mary’s Mass Centre, our mission has grown into a vibrant Syro-Malabar community rooted in faith, prayer, and catechesis. Today, St Monica Mission continues to flourish with weekly services at La Salette Church in Rainham.

First Saturday Convention

St Monica Mission is blessed to host the London Bible Convention – First Saturday Convention, under the leadership of the Eparchial Evangelisation Team. This is a special opportunity for families, individuals, and young people to come together for a powerful day of worship, healing, and deep encounter with Christ.
